There are definitely improvements, but DF really needs a wider vocabulary. I remember last year they were calling the Pro differences "night and day" and "huge." Now it's "profound" (and also "huge" a lot of times). There is nothing profound about the differences here, they're nice upgrades, just as the Pro differences were decent as well. I guess gaming culture (along with most online articles) are always too extreme for my tastes, not everything is a 1 or a 10, sometimes it's just a 5 or a 6.
I'll admit, though, that I'm only a 1080p owner. I can see the differences when DF zooms in and blows up the pictures by 800 percent, but when the games run side by side they always look pretty similar, even on my projector screen.
