Why would the internet go out in a bad storm? It's safely wired in the ground. The power however does go out, or cycles resetting everything...
Always online is shit, and I've had a bunch of 'can't save data' warnings already with my spotty wifi. No progress lost though, as long as it has a succesful save before you turn it off nothing is lost. Thank the hackers, just google GT6 save game editor :/
