Is several guys here with a problem to understand the title or just want to say what they like?

The question isn't what is the best first boss fight, the question is the best OPENING boss fight. Most of what people said isn't fight on the opening of the game, that is totally not common.

Well the title leads itself to that. People are just bound to list a game's first bosses, as by and large most games don't start with one.

In my defense, I'd consider Meta Ridley in Prime 3 to be the last moment of the game's very long opening. This is subjective, of course, as some people could say the opening of the game ends when you leave the Olympus, but to me at least it's clear it continues on all the way until that boss, since that's the point where the game throws in a major cutscene and loads of plot, introduces your main suit you'll be using throughout the experience and ditches the action-heavy gameplay in favor of a slightly more Metroidvania style.

I haven't played it, but if you can fell it like a long opening (we have had games with 15-30min opening on the theatrical part only) no problem =]

That was my point on there is very very little games that start with you fightning a boss. But the OP himself explained that he meant first boss and not opening sequel boss.
