Why do people call the 360, JRPG console this generation?

Look at the title of this thread. Loads of people claim that the 360 will be the JRPG console this generation. I don't believe that statement is true at all. I think the Wii will be JRPG console this generation. Afterall, it sells by far the best in Japan.

All I wanted to know was why people keep saying that the 360 will be JRPG console this genration (as in not now, but the whole generation).

 

 360 loves to buy RPGs though... and any big budget JPG is going to be better on the 360.

360 will likely have enough high quality and mid level along with low level RPGs to match the Wii's who will probably have less high quality but more mid quality ones.

In the end it'll probably be  a wash, and i'd give the edge to 360 since RPG players have games they can play now.
