I think vr will be a a thing,but not in the gaming sector.It will be used in museums,hospitals and schools,but i don't think it'll be the next step of videogames.
To me,hybrids are the logical conclusion.It offers the traditional home console experience while being an practical handheld.And with the evolution of the technology,power will not be a problem in a few years.
There's no cons,really.
