I'm very much into video game music, and I know you are too. Being enthousiast as we are, I was wondering what everyone tastes are regarding vgm.

I have 4 topics to get us going:

1 - Share 3 tracks you believe that pushed the limits of the system it was released on (and you like of course).

2 - Share 3 track you believe are really good, but are never talked about/as popular as let's say, a game's main theme (overshadowed track basically).

3 - Lastly, A single track that you think would fit on your profile page as an intro.

4 - Bonus track (because why not).

(My only rule is, pls not entire soundtracks).

I will start of course:

1

Solstice on NES (Title theme) Tim Follin is a genius

Plok on SNES (Beach) Tim mfing Follin again!

DKC 2 on SNES (Stickerbush Symphony), This one well known, but i'm still amazed by it. So good.

2

Baten Kaitos on Gamecube (Soft Labyrinth) People mostly only care about True Mirror, but the whole soundtrack is brilliant.

F-Zero on SNES (Port Town) The most memorable ones are Mute City and Big Blue, but there are some amazing tracks besides those two.

Ys I & II on PSP /PC (Palace of Destruction) Besides the beautiful Feena track, this game has some amazing music, this is the first dungeon theme!

3

One of my favorite tracks from one of my favorite games

4

Advance Wars Days of Ruin on DS (Stormy Times) Play the soundtrack in your car. See what happens.

Very curious to see what you guys post.
