It didn't destroy his run. Most americans don't know what Alepo was. I don't know what Alepo is. Gary Johnson lost because he was a libertarian and knew literally almost nothing in other world affairs, besides just Alepo(he couldn't even name a world leader he admired, and not by choice mind you - he said he was having an "Alepo" moment). 

This is worse than Alepo becaus the Virgin islands are owned by Trump.

Trump bought the whole damn island? Lol.
