You know what's weird? I've heard sites claim that the original Sonic the Hedgehog sold like 16 million units by itself. Which would make it almost as successful as Super Mario World and Super Mario Brohters 3. Obviously that probably isn't right ... but it's weird that some sites say wildly different things. I'm guessing they just combined the sales figures for all sonic games on the genesis and accidently said it was for one game.
