Nintendo seem to have regained the ability to "WOW!" people this gen. If it does come 2018 holidays then my prediction wouldn't be too far off and it's not anything i would be upset about anyway. I would welcome being able to play it earlier!

Agree, like I wrote when we talk about biggest hevi hiters, I think that Animal Crossing will be 2018. game while Pokemon will be probably be 2019. game (of course we that will be reverse situation or that even both games be released in 2018.).

Either or. I would be happy if Pokemon was 2018/Animal Crossing 2019. I love Pokemon too! Whatever situation would suit me. As for a Smash deluxe i really hope that doesn't happen. I think if that released next year i would be on the fence as to actually buying it. Would depend on how much new content was added. It would be a similar situation to MK8D, which i considered unworthy of a full price tag, so refused to buy new.
