Dragonball Xenoverse 2 for Switch, and Dragonball Xenoverse 2 for PS4 must not both be current gen then, since Switch and PS4 have different hardware and architecture. But that's not true because Switch and PS4 are both consoles of the current generation. 

Yes, they're current gen because they are the current consoles  by both. The PS3 and Wii U were the consoles they replaced, so those consoles are no longer current gen.
