Price Cut would plunge Sony even deeper into Red and send warning flags to lots of potential buyers.

not really if they can lower the price of blu ray players they can lower the price of the ps3

If you think they can lower the production of a console by 350-450 dollars within its first year to achieve 100-200 dollar drop on the MRSP and still break even without a profit then you need not bother with facts or arguments to convince anyone but yourself.

people on this site really need to stop being fanboys... Alot of people dont even realize i own a 360..... my point is if they can significantly lower blu ray players they can afford to lower the cost of ps3;s....   Last time i checked you dont work at SONY OR have anything to do with sony...  YOU KNOW NO FACTS... you dont know production costs or anything... only thing you know is what you see off the internet... so until you know exactly how much they have lowered costs then SSShhhhhhhhh

The same logic can be turned back against you. If you have no facts to show price drop can be done without going into red, then you have no more room to talk either. And since we was talking about whether they be futher in the red or not after another price cut, I don't see how them doing the price cut anway prove anything. If you have no evidence to support your claim then you have no right to yell at others for doing the same when proof is something you need to give. If I KNOW NO FACTS, then perhaps you show me some to educate me or be silent yourself.

If you can't talk without being angry, then perhaps you shouldn't be talking.
