My god it's just a "trading card" mode in FIFA, all other modes don't have lootboxes. And you know what? People love that mode. Don't like it? There are a gazillion other modes to play. Oh but you don't even play FIFA, you just want game modes to be taxed. According to your logic, trading card games and chocolate eggs with a toy in it should be taxed as well. Think about it for a minute and realise how bizarre your post is.

Wrong. I do play FIFA.

And btw, i don't care. I pay full price, i don't expect there to be a P2Win freemium mode in there. It is not excusable in any way, as it's not on shadow of war or any other game you pay full price for either.

I do want gambling to be taxed cause that is the LAW, and videogame companies are taking advantage of it atm. Gambling needs regulation. Again, it's the law.

You may find Ultimate Team not excusable but that's kind of irrelevant seeing how it's FIFA's mode popular mode (I don't play it myself, more of a Career guy).

Your argument is really absurd to be honest. Do you think these things should be taxed for gambling as well?

Because it's exactly the same.
