I liken this situation to what EA wants to do with Access. Gaming isn't there yet but when it reaches that kind of fragmentation I'll tap out and just buy my stuff individually.
I still have a DVD collection and do my best to purchase Ultraviolet titles so I can create my own personal library to stream/download. I'm currently contemplating leaving Netflix, but they successfully revivied Voltron so I can't really leave...
