Netflix is $10, Hulu is $8, Crunchyroll is $7, and Amazon is $8 per month. Now, we'd use Amazon without the streaming service, because of the 2 day shipping. The video service is just a bonus (although I've been watching stuff on it a good bit in the past few months).

Sadly, I can't drop cable because I like to watch live sports, but I've trimmed it down as much as I can.

That's not too bad, but considering that you don't even have access to all premium content (HBO for one is missing dude ) for about $400 a year is a worrying trend to me.

Also, did you get to see Chance on Hulu? I think season 2 is starting this week. Really cool new series with Hugh Laurie, highly recommended!

It's not too bad so far when you're by yourself. Yet as a family my wife and kids have quite different interests. Cable suits us all. If we would all go to streaming it would split up to 3 sets of different subscriptions. Netflix, Disney, Crave, Amazon, Hulu, etc, plus unlimited internet access. Then still need cable for live shows or add ps vue.
