As a gay man, I'm no fan of this legislation (The sad thing is I tend to like a decent amount of legislation that comes from California). I already have a higher chance of attaining HIV in my lifetime. I understand previous legislation did not account for risk assessment or rather an individual was on HIV medication but this is just crazy. Indefensible. Not to mention, California did this before classifying stealthing as rape (which is like salt poured on a wound).
