I don't understand why cable companies aren't more forward thinking with streaming. They're isps as well, yet their streaming service is archaic, with vcr controls locked out to make you watch commercials. Maybe they can't legally, but if I were them I would make the whole lot automatically available for streaming when it airs, commercials and all, like a pvr on steroids. I guess the infrastructure is still not up to the task of streaming to all customers. Plus the networks are probably the ones that don't want people to ffwd commercials.
