I don't think 99% of people ACTUALLY consider anti-nazi controversial..

But Bethesda is definitly capitalising on this current political climate of the moral panic of the day in the US of Nazism (which I find laughable because there's probably like a small group of about 10,000 wackos out of a 320,000,000 + population of Americans that actually consider themselves "Nazi" or have true Nazi ideology). Even if I'm being generous and throwing in the KKK that's probably another 5,000 at best of an ever dwindling group of overly paranoid hateful weirdos that adhere to that group..

I think much of the backlash comes from the worry that this insult is being flung around far too loosely these days, and can thus be used as a means to justify violence and normal, everyday people who might have some conservative leanings but are nowhere NEAR actual Nazism. (In fact I contend a far left group like Antifa is closer to a modern day equivilant of Nazism/Fascism than the actual 1,000 or so Neo Nazi crazies out there, as they enforce their views be sheer force, which is essentially the essence of fascism. And there are FAR more of them in America today). Hell, a Jewish moderate libertarian conservative like Ben Shapiro is seriously considered a Nazi by some nuts out there.. I think THAT is what's actually concerning to these people, even if they aren't smart enough to communicate that.

Additionally, I think there's like 10x more people being outraged over this outrage, than ACTUAL outrage..

On the topic of the actual GAME, I'm looking forward to playing it. Go to try it out at E3 and it was a lot of fun. Hoping I can land a free review code for XB One, if not I'll probably pick it up for Switch when it comes out.
