I can understand it but meanwhile the consumers are getting fucked again. We're going from one central hub of video content (cable TV) to a more and more fragmented market. Who in their right mind would subscribe to three or four streaming services?

I'm one of those crazies ... unfortunately I'll likely end up subbing to the Disney thing too...  lots of young ones in the house that watch the crap out of Disney content on Netflix.

$9.99 - Netflix

$8.25  - Amazon Prime broken down per month but i mostly use prime for the faster shipping and release day discounts

$11.99  - Hulu+ no commercial plan (should be called the one commercial before and after the show plan though as very few that I watch are actually commercial free)

$xx.xx  - Vudu - whatever it is i buy that month that has a digital copy. I almost exclusively buy physical movies with a Digital Copy.

$30.23 + whatever movies I buy in a month.  You could also add in the $60 I pay for internet.  Just under a $100 a month for internet and TV which probably puts me in the neighborhood of what i would pay for cable / Sat.
