Sadly that is the only real advantage iPhone has except for pressure sensitive touch on their screens. They play catchup in most other respects. Only now are they getting wireless and fast charging. They have a dated design (something most Apple Faithfull used to use as their reason for purchase) They lack customization in their OS. They cut out basic features such as an headphone jack. And in the new iPhone. A fast charger isn't even included. You need to buy that seperately. Very inexcusable when I phones are already considered by many to be overpriced. It uses proprietary expensive cables and accessories and is generally becoming a big Hassle to use if you wanna listen to music or charge your phone. Which is so odd to say as Apple built their brand on accessibility and ease of use.. A lot of new companies such as 1plus gives you so much value for your money. I personally prefer the galaxy series since they went with the curved screens. Before that I used Sony phones because of their water resistance. Speaking of. This is something apple also only recently got, and whereas most phones have been using ip68. Apple is only using the worse water resistance level of ip67.. Something that is even more confusing since et hey don't have a headphone jack to not get water into.. I have been selling phones for a living and I have spoken with a lot apple representatives. Apple is very good salesmen, but not very great at making phones. |
I think iphone will lose a lot of customers this gen, they've been squeezing $$$ out of their customers way too long.
