AMD today released the WHQL version of their latest game-ready drivers. The Radeon Software Crimson ReLive 17.9.3 WHQL drivers bring the same change-log, with fixes, performance improvements, and known issues, as their latest Beta release of the same driver package. However, for those who don't want to use Beta-state software on their computers, AMD has now released a properly-signed WHQL driver.

Battle.net gets new social features, user profiles, and an 'Appear Offline' function

We reported earlier this week about the discovery of "group strings" in a recent update to Blizzard's Battle.net client, suggesting that new features including Discord-like groups and an option to appear offline might soon be added to the client. Very soon, as it turns out—the features are now live in a beta version of the software that's available to everyone.

Discord has rolled out some new and much requested features today: namely, the ability to video chat and screen share. In the company's words "you can share your face or screen pixels with another person's eye pixels", which is a very nice way of putting it, if you ask me.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins – Official PC requirements revealed, will feature a built-in benchmark tool

Ubisoft has just revealed the official PC requirements for Assassin’s Creed: Origins. According to the team, PC gamers will need at least an Intel Core i5-2400 or an AMD FX-6350 CPU with 6GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD R9 270 in order to play it on Low settings at 720p.
