This is why it's worrisome for Nintendo to still be facing the same third party issues that Wii U had. Gamers do take notice to such things and will buy accordingly. It's one thing to have lower resolution and frame rate performance, but losing crucial game features that other console versions have becomes a big issue. If it keeps up, Switch's third party situation will become the Wii U debacle all over again.

It's a poor excuse. it is missing something trival that isn't even meaningful to the game.

The effort is there for the game.

It's missing The Journey, missing several subfeatures from other modes (which doesn't make any sense whatsoever), and to reiterate what I said months ago, *perception* matters.  When are you people going to realize that?  No Joe Consumer doesn't have a check list of every feature missing in Fifa Switch.  But Joe Consumer has been informed, I guarantee you, through whatever grape vine they are tied in to, that the Switch is missing several features and pieces of features.  It's gimped.  Lacking.  THAT'S what the average Joe knows and THAT'S what is damaging.  It's like with Street Fighter V.  Those millions of SFIV fans, did they know of every single missing piece in SFV?  No, but they knew it was lacking content and modes and characters and that was it, done, sale lost.  Consumers aren't hyper aware of every little detail, but general perceptions filter down constantly.  And the fact EA did absolutely no promotion to offset this and no damage control of any kind (other than implying Switch owners are simpletons), this was perhaps the most predictable failure of a AAA game in quite some time.
