While you haven't played MGS 1-3, from what I understand during cutscenes it gives you the option to have flashbacks of sorts, giving you background info on what's going on, to help the uninitiated such as yourself. Edit 2: And be warned, the gameplay will probably be very confusing at first (despite it's "reinvention" for MGS4), and it will take a while to get used to. Don't give up, as it's totally worth it in the end. I started the MGS saga with MGS3, and the first few hours of the game were a pain, but by the end of it I had a good grasp of what I could and could not get away with, and the game was a blast. MGS1/2 were just as great throughout, as I already knew what I could do. |
Thanks for the info, I'm glad to hear about the flashbacks...I'll give it a fair shake. I hope I like it...I need a good gaming spirit lifter. But, lol, if that doesn't work, I'll get refreshed in a couple weeks...Heading up to Canada to go fishing for two weeks...remote Cabin you can only get to by boat and no people within miles--just bears and timberwolves...no electricity or plumbing even!
