The Wii brought me back into console gaming after I lost all interest early in the PS2 era.
I started out as a typical casual gamer but quickly grew fond of all the obscure Japanese games it offered (Muramasa, Opoona, No More Heroes, MadWorld, Zack & Wiki, Little King's Story... the list is endless), and of course the great Nintendo games. My girlfriend at the time also loved it and reviewed games for it, thus we grew a huge collection over time consisting of over 100 titles.
It was also a frustrating console. It was underpowered and underutilized. Western publishers didn't understand it.
I still like it way more than PS3 and Wii U for its unique and varied library.
