The reason I just don't think this will happen is that the PS4 is arguably one of the most consistent consoles when it comes to sales. In it's 3rd year it did like 18 mil, this year it will probably do 20 mil total, and next year it could do 16-18 mil with God of War 4, Days Gone, Red Dead Redemption 2, Detroit Become Human, and Spiderman.
In 2019 we'll have The Last of Us 2 and Death Stranding .... it will probably do at least 10m that year. I just don't see it being replaced till late 2019 at the earliest. There's just no point in launching that early.
