Gaming - War is Over - View Post

Windows is seen as more of an inevitability, something they Must interface with to progress with their life.
Most enjoyment is overshadowed by the crushing amount of poor experiences they apply to Windows, such as editing rich text documents or spreadsheets.
People have simply not spent enough time with Linux or Mac to build up any real resentment for them, the honeymoon stage I guess.

I do still resent the closed nature of consoles, and gaming general.
But SuperTuxKart is not going cut it for me.

Not really, Windows is preferred and highly one might add but  it's not the only way of life ... (the only reason why closed platforms/software persist so much in the commercial world is because they often come with a competitive advantage but the same is often not true for open platforms/software)

Actually, lot's of people have spent time with Mac (it used to be competitive with WIndows in market share!) and most of the customers switched to Windows (AKA greener pastures for them) plus the current customers are less impressed with Mac than ever before compared to current WIndows customers ...

Linux doesn't have the features and Mac doesn't get the support it nearly does ...
