Breath of the Wild is an amazing game. A great twist to the Zelda franchise. An epic third person quest. A huge world to explore with rewards every step of the way. A feeling of helplessness at first and power near the end. Great combat that rewards experimentation.

While it may not have cooking, a lot of physics puzzles, and whimsy, Dragon's Dogma keeps up with Zelda where it counts. You'll get as much out of it as you put in. Heck, you might even enjoy DD more. The first time you climb a pile of rocks and it turns into a hulking stone beast, you'll see.
Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen rereleases on Xbox One and PS4 this week. Give it a shot.
Word of warning: This is a cheap port. Aside from a silky smooth framerate, there's no noticeable improvement here.
