can't really imagine 2.3GB of amiibo content though, would be nuts, you could be on the ball with the compression techniques in use though, make it easier for the cpu and slower memory to handle if it isn't decompressing as much on the fly.

Imagine if they went the Smash Bros route with it.
That would be 2.3GB or more easy.
