I've had the Rift and the Vive. I really am impressed with what they have been able to do with this technology. Some of the games are just amazing first time experiences, which is a thrill for someone who has been playing videogames for over 35 years.
I do think the technology is still a little ways off though. Its tough because I would love to support it right now but I think it won't really take off until its wireless and either self contained or streamed. The potential is through the roof though!
