32k screenshot - Files now work for non 32k ready computers

I used to take 8K screenshots of Elite Dangerous which took my laptop 30 seconds to render. It saves them as 100MB bmp files. I converted most to png yet my screenshot folder for ED is still 10GB.

I am working on shrinking the file size, but I don't want to harm the image quality.
So, no JPEG.
