Asking for a port is one thing. Demanding a port, and then pirating the game when it isn't ported is another thing entirely. If a publisher wants to bring their game to PC let them, but don't freaking try to force them, or hold a gun to their heads. Plenty of other games like YS VIII, Neir: Automata, Tales of Bersia, and Final Fantasy have done it. You don't see me complaining about those games coming to PC, because in return console owners get Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Portal, etc.

I mean, I really want Divinity: Original Sin II to come to the PS4, but you don't see me refusing to buy the game, or boycotting the game, or trying to find a way to get the game for free. Nope, instead you see me putting the game on my steam wishlist, and waiting until I have the time to play it, before I shell out the $45 (a fantastic and fair price, for a game that just released, BTW!) for it.

Except it's not pirating, people have gone through that rigmarole with you folk beforehand.

No one is remotely holding them at gunpoint, so let's drop that mentality right here and now while we're at it.

Like I said before, people have been clamouring for Persona to hit PC for years and Atlus has done nowt to provite anything for that market, which has led to current events. I think it's actually quite ingorant to continue ignoring a market that wants your product to reach their platform, to a point where that platform has to create various ways to grab attention of said company, only for that company to swat them and go back to ignoring them.

Plenty of those other games have had companies and devs that actually decided to listen to reason, the biggest difference here is that Atlus hasn't for years and after that PR statement, I can easily see them going back to ignoring them once more.

DoS has been released on consoles as well, do you honestly think the devs are going to turn around and suddenly say "no, you'll never ever get DoS II"?. The comparison with DoS II and P5 isn't even remotely the same at all. For starters the original was Kickstarted by consumers, not a Publisher, not a console company, then of course the game was released for PC and consoles followed afterwards, with the Persona series, none of that has happened for PC, so it's not even the same thing, the same design, nor the same way.

Console owners have always had ES/Fallout games for years.... PC only managed a few of those Japanese games in recent years, again a big difference in time there, especially in library.

You cannot boycott the game if it's not for sale on your system of choice, same goes for PC in regards to wanting P5, how is one to boycott a company that never sells to them in the first place?.

According to your own thread, $45 would be too expensive for something digital, that and you only treat Steam for indie titles, so gl finding $45+ for standalone indie titles.

At the end of the day, you are not a paragon for all to follow, we are all different, we all have our own likes and dislikes, especially opinions, but yours isn't to be ought after, so there is no need to preach it like it should be. What I think you should do in life, you would easily disagree with what I could say, which is why I don't bother telling you what to do with your life, your expenses etc.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
