But of course the comment going against the idea of wanting a port would fit your views nicely. There is clearly a market for the game on the platform and for years Atlus have ignored those clamouring for the franchise to make it's way to the platform. You've got a heavy anti emulation stance as well as anything else going towards the platform in general. i know very well that you have a history with PC and you play indies and all that, but you certainly hold a lot of disdain for it, especially in recent years. |
Asking for a port is one thing. Demanding a port, and then pirating the game when it isn't ported is another thing entirely. If a publisher wants to bring their game to PC let them, but don't freaking try to force them, or hold a gun to their heads. Plenty of other games like YS VIII, Neir: Automata, Tales of Bersia, and Final Fantasy have done it. You don't see me complaining about those games coming to PC, because in return console owners get Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Portal, etc.
I mean, I really want Divinity: Original Sin II to come to the PS4, but you don't see me refusing to buy the game, or boycotting the game, or trying to find a way to get the game for free. Nope, instead you see me putting the game on my steam wishlist, and waiting until I have the time to play it, before I shell out the $45 (a fantastic and fair price, for a game that just released, BTW!) for it.
