Epic Games has announced that over one million gamers have played Fortnite: Battle Royale on its first day. And to be honest, this figure comes as no surprise as Fortnite: Battle Royale is currently available for free on PC and current-gen consoles.

AMD has released a new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the AMD Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.9.3 is optimized for both Forza Motorsport 7 and Total War: WARHAMMER 2. Moreover, this new driver adds a multi-GPU support for Creative Assembly’s strategy game.

Modder ‘The_Undying_Nephalim’ has released the first demo for his Zelda mod for the free open-source game, 0 A.D. This demo features two playable factions (The Kingdom of Hyrule and the Gerudo), four Heroes for each of the two factions, each with their own unique Units, Techs, and Abilities, and three Skirmish and Multiplayer Maps.

Modder ‘Essenthy’ has released a new version of his amazing lighting mod, Super Turbo Lighting Mod, for The Witcher 3. According to the release notes, this version removes lens flares from the sun and dirt flare, and removes tonemapping during cut-scenes (thus making cut-scenes look exactly like normal gameplay).

Bethesda has announced that a beta version of Skyrim’s survival mode is currently available on Steam. The Survival Mode is only available for Skyrim’s Special Edition – which is currently the only one being sold on Steam – and adds new gameplay features and challenges to transform Skyrim into a land of unrelenting cold and harsh wilderness.

 

Call Of Cthulhu has been delayed until 2018

Last week we informed you about Vampyr slipping into 2018. However, it appears that this isn’t the only game from Focus Home Interactive that got delayed. According to its official Twitter account, Call Of Cthulhu has also been delayed until 2018.

Jon Hare in partnership with Combo Breaker announced today that Sociable Soccer, their much anticipated, fast-paced, arcade take on the beautiful game, will launch on October 12th on Steam Early Access. According to the press release, Sociable Soccer will be easy to play and hard to master with a single player campaign mode, classic local multiplayer and online multiplayer available from launch and a 30,000 player card collecting online team mode in the works.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands – PVP mode goes live on October 10th

Ubisoft announced today that Ghost War, the new PvP mode update for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, will be available on October 10th. Ghost War will be free for all players who own the base game and will receive regular content updates after launch. In Ghost War, two groups of players will take part in a 4v4 team deathmatch experience that builds on the tactical squad play from the main game, where strategy is equally as important as skill.
