If the Switch competes really well with PS4 getting close or even overtaking ps4 sales you can be sure some sort of hybrid device will be in their thinking for future models. It may not follow the Switch model directly but will likely be heavily influenced by it. I love the Vita but it has many issues which could have been easily resolved at the design stage. Including better compatibility with the dual shock and of course using standard memory cards. The initial model was too expensive with a OLED display which kept prices high and meant a slow uptake. Yes the display is great but most didn't want to pay for it and would have been happy with standard LCD. It's oval shape is a little annoying too meaning just slightly too big for many pockets. It is a great gaming gadget but it could have been so much better.
