Actually yes. At the time that blew people away.

 

Of people I know who own VR headsets (including myself) we are underwhelmed at best. Not saying it is not cool sometimes but I do not think it will ever go mainstream. VR is just one of those things that sounds way cooler on paper than it is in reality and almost every VR game I have played is way dumbed down compared "normal" games. The vast majority of games will not work in VR.

 

If you enjoy it by all means continue to enjoy it but I think it will forever stay a niche.
