Super Metroid and Zero Mission I like. I havent gotten my controller to work yet, but from what I've seen I'd probably like AM2R as well.

PS. How do i get a controller to work with AM2R for Mac? (wineskin)

Thanks for once again proving your awful taste by being a Mac user.

Do you have an AM2R specific problem? I know my Wii U Pro controller (emulated as a Xbox 360 controller) had a strange glitch exclusively with AM2R that was for some reason fixed by installing the crappy 360 controller "driver" or something.

My controllers literally wont connect. At least not wirelessly.

Similar to my SMT 4 Apocalypse critique.

I... wouldn't go that far at all. Without going into detail, if Super Metroid/Zero Mission are standard Metroid games, SR feels like the amusement park of a standard metroid game.

Amusement parks can be fun. But i mean this is metroid.

You focus way too much on whether something is or isn't a "standard" or "proper" game in the series.

While i understand where youre coming from, this is not my same issue with something like Prime. Prime is different. SR is shallow. Prime is a much better game. SR is a more proper metroid. I'd sooner play Prime.

That being said, no i dont. My problem is never that something isnt standard, but why and how it impacts its series. I want an open starfox with ground missions, which isnt "proper" SF gameplay, but my reasons are in line with my critiques here, so im not at all against bucking a tradition if it makes sense.
