They had to adapt the game mode with their crafting element, otherwise it would have come off as a complete rip off, that's not some off the shelf choice made entirely for giggles.
I'm not going to agree to disagree. I just flat out disagree with your take on things, I know you and I are never going to see eye to eye after this point so I'm not going to bother with the agree to disagree part (because we'll be saying it over and over for each time we butt heads, so I'd rather save the time).
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
