Even though the Halo 2 version is arguably just as good if not better than Halo 3's, I think Halo 3's main menu music fits well for a funeral. It's less bombastic than the first two iterations.
Uhh... I'm pretty sure there's some other Halo songs that could count? Maybe something from Xenoblade? Can't really say I've played very mainy games with good music for a funeral ... perhaps that means I should play more Final Fantasy :0
I was watching this cool Final Fantasy retrospective and almost every song he played at the beginning of introducing a new game was like a funeral song
