Is really all the "evidence" he cites from the very few reviews on glassdoor and job listings by CD Projekt (I skipped through the vid)? Then this video has no conclusive evidence for the statement in the thread title, so it's just "wrong" and OP should feel bad.

Comparing the 30 reviews / 7 CEO reviews of CD Projekt with the > 700/ > 1700 reviews for Ubisoft/EA and the > 400 CEO reviews for both is inappropriate as very few disgruntled ex-staff can hugely impact their score.

That said I don't doubt developing games in Poland is just as shitty (long work hours, crunch time, shitty pay) as anywhere else around the world. It just takes hundreds of thousends of work hours to create an AAA game, which then is sold for a pretty low price.
