Considering that these "critics" are behaving fucking elitist I see no problem here. People who think that an easy mode somehow destroys their fun despite not having any effect on them can fuck off. There is room for an easy mode as well as a hard mode in every fucking game.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
