They still have the same flaws as in the beginning:

Lower brightness compared to LCD and decreasing further with time.
Low lifecycle
Burn in
Higher latency in regard to non oled.


But it's perfect for watching movies in a dark room.

These still keep me away from them. I don't think the tech is 100% ready yet. And TVs are usually long time investiments, I usually stay more than 5 years with one. However, they are already solving the lifecycle issue.

Anyway, I think it will be the number 1 option soon. For smartphones they already are, I don't think I would even consider a LCD screen on a phone ever again. Of course, the longevity issues aren't relevant here neither is the burn-in (there are software solutions). AMOLED also improves latency a lot.
