It's not confirmed yet, but the first reports and rumors about the total liberation of the city are coming in. With ISIS being pushed back on every front in both Syria and Iraq we could see the total defeat of ISIS (as in them no longer holding any territory in Syria and Iraq) before the end of the year with a bit of luck.
