When the US dollar falls, it does not make the cost of PS3s in the country go down nor do wages suddenly go up. A PS3 is still the same price within the economic system of the US. That price in relation to the outside world (I hear there is one!) is irrelevant to the people asking for price cuts.

 


Correct. The Dollar is going down relative to other currencies, it is not decreasing in price for the American consumer. That process is called inflation.
