Can't say I've had that happen to me (yet). I suppose the tip offs were random Steam emails showing in the inbox?. I won't install CCleaner until everything has been sorted out.

Yeah. It was random Steam emails in the Inbox. They are legitimate emails as well, not spoofed.
I have Email AND SMS verification turned on, so they won't be able to gain complete control of my account, if you haven't done something similar, I highly suggest you do it.

It's just a perpetual pain in my posterior having to change all my passwords all the time. (As my passwords are all deviations of each other to make remembering easier.)
