Two years after Larian's fantasy-RPG Divinity: Original Sin 2 quadrupled its Kickstarter goal, the game is now out of early access and in full release. It's doing very well for itself, too, muscling past both Playerunknown's Battlegrounds and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider to claim the top spot on the Steam charts. But despite all the time and planning that went into it, the release definitely wasn't the smoothest ever.

The company announced today that it has now raised more than $100 million for organizations around the world including Child's Play, the American Red Cross, the EFF, and Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières.

Steam Sets New Record for Concurrent Users – Over 15 Million Steam Users Online Simultaneously

Today, Steam set a new record for concurrent users as there were 15,053,189 Steam users online at the same time. The previous 14 million milestone was broken back in January 9th, and it took Valve eight months in order to reach the 15 million goal.

Now here is an interesting idea. Sockman111 and his team is currently demaking Half-Life 2 in Half Life’s GoldSource Engine. While there have been other such attempts in the past, this one may actually see the light of day. And if it does not, players will at least be able to get a taste of it as Sockman111 has released a demo of it.

Dark Souls 'Rekindled Edition' mod will make the game near unrecognisable

Dark Souls launched on PC over five years ago, yet still produces loads of neat user-made mods. Recent examples that've caught our eye include the Item Randomizer mod, Enemy Placement, Shovel Souls, and Boss Rush mode, to name but a few. The latest is a work-in-progress by LordofSandvich, named 'Rekindled Edition', that tweaks over 350 aspects of the base game.
