Wait did he literally say regional corn dish? I don't get it. |
Nope he said "grit"... but i didn't bothered to remember the name of the dish.
All he said on southern accent were “Do you want some grits?”

Not trying to derail but how do you think your friend would have reacted if an item which exists for the sole purpose of consumption and pleasure for another person was referred to as 'she'. I'm genuinely curious about this. |
In Brazil about everything is a he or she, we don't have "it". So the words themselves have gender in most cases. But the association of sandwich with "he" because of phalic form would be easier to indetify than a "she". But certainly SJW in Brazil would be triggered with associating a female to eating (we use the verb eat as a variation of fuck).

You don't need to do that. As far as I can tell this is still exclusive to the US (possibly Canada) and the internet. There's still a couple hundred other countries you could live in and not have to deal with this shit (without becoming a mountain hermit) |
I don't know how much different is Brazil to USA in this, but there is a lot of SJW in Brazil already... and several of them take print screen of facebook comments and send to employeers to demand firing of people...
But some people here try to pretend SJW are all loving people only wanting to "educate" others and make the world better for all.
