Not as a whole. But I agree with a few points such as Stalin's Soviet Union and Hitler's Germany have more in common with each other than with liberal democracies. Contestgamer's points sounds like it could come from either the far left or far right if you change up a few points.

Come on... I consider progressivism centrist - the real center in America. Far left is real, but thats authoratarian communism and no one is in favor of that. Cant believe youre throwing us under the same umberall, it's not even close. Most progressives are against far lefties like Antifa and Stalin. And many of todays so called far left is really right wingers trying to pretend its the left.

You lost me at the whole reeducation part. I can understand what you're trying to say by teaching kids how to behave but you're reeducating adults simply based on "offense" is a sure fire way to create an authoritarian state.

Now, it depends on whether or not you consider the Soviet Union and Germany to actually be following a far left/far-right scale in which they are on opposite ends of the scale, or if it was mainly a point or rhetoric to gain support/motivation from the people of the country. Yes, they share many similarities, but they are both authoritarian regimes, so is it that far-left and far-right are similar, or that authoritarian regimes will naturally have similar methods?

Yes I do, and naturally they will use similar methods because each had a similar goal in mind: to extinguish dissidents and maintain total control. Control will not vary much based on your political leanings.
