Now, it depends on whether or not you consider the Soviet Union and Germany to actually be following a far left/far-right scale in which they are on opposite ends of the scale, or if it was mainly a point or rhetoric to gain support/motivation from the people of the country. Yes, they share many similarities, but they are both authoritarian regimes, so is it that far-left and far-right are similar, or that authoritarian regimes will naturally have similar methods?
