simple reasons, first is that its been going on for years, its no longer news. It was reported, the UN even tryed to intervene and nothing. Either people dint care back then, something else that was more important happen and it faded in the noise or some do care and feel empathy or whatever but know that we cant do much if anything, so whining that its not on every chanel, or posting on facebook "pray for burmese" is pointless. Why was not the south africa takeover more maintream? Its still going on and the black population is basicly starving to death. In venezuela there are riots and starvation whyle the rich live with no worry in their comunnist dictator ruling, how come its not blasted every day on the news?

It's funny that you associated communism with dictatorship like that. There are capitalist dictators as well. But other than that good point why aren't they? Why aren't the hindu terrorists more in the news or the christian ones or the specifically atheistic ones or jewish ones. They all exist but the media fails to inform us. Israel is illegally taking land from Palestine and basically committing genocide as they go along but why isnt that in the news. Why is Daesh only given so much attention? Al Qaeda has existed for decades but is still in the news and so is Taliban and its been 4 years since daesh but they are always in the news why aren't others given much attention? Some would atgue that the the rohingye genocide is worse than what daesh does and some would argue that what israel does is worse but they are never in the news. Why is that is the most valid question you could ask so called journalists and reporters
