Nope it's just the 2014 situation all over again. Everyones output is average (yeah even for Sony whose only good real exclusive was Horizon the rest were 3rd party games). Meanwhile Nintendo is releasing masterpiece after masterpiece. 2018 is going to blow it out of the water: Red Dead Redemption 2, God of War, Kingdom Hearts III, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, Spiderman, Metro: Exodus, Days Gone, Monster Hunter Sorld possibly: Halo 6, Bloodborne II, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Borderlands 3, Starfield (Bethesda new IP). 20 years after 1998 we finally have a year to match it.

It's gonna be interesting to see what Nintendo releases, lol. Mario, Xenoblade, Zelda, Mario Kart all released this year. I guess maybe Metroid (but being we've seen nothing about it, I doubt it's coming in 2018), and a port of Smash (ugh, ports) but then what else. Yikes.

*Edit* You also forgot to add my most anticipated JRPG to the mix, NiNo Kuni 2.
