I think the issue is most people just give him the cold shoulder. Granted, I'm not exactly Mother Theresa (as shown from what I said to him), but I believe talking to him and giving a hand will help him significantly.

Yeah, that sounds good. Clearing things up between you 2 and discussing more about him would be helpful.
